Brogade was one of the streets that was hardest hit during the bombardment. More than half of all the buildings in the street were either destroyed in the shelling, or were so badly damaged that they had to be pulled down. The damages were assessed at a total of 31,130 Rixdollars in all. No pictures were taken of Brogade as such after the bombardment, but there are a few photos in which ruins of the street can be glimpsed in the background.
